SANEON as an Official Supplier of American Magic

Munich, Germany – New York Yacht Club American Magic, Challenger for the 36th America’s Cup, today announced SANEON, a global leader in connecting CAD design to simulation software, as an Official Supplier of the team. The America’s Cup is the highest prize in sailing, and the oldest trophy in international sports. American Magic seeks to win back the trophy for the United States during the next match, which is set to be held in Auckland, New Zealand, in 2021.
“SANEON’s CASIN technology will allow our design team to save time, improve quality control, and produce more refined components for our boats,” said Terry Hutchinson, Skipper and Executive Director of American Magic. “With the tight timelines and challenging design parameters we have in the America’s Cup arena, tools like CASIN will help us deliver a fast, safe and innovative American Magic AC75 to the starting line.”
