- History and definitions of human factors
- The effect of human factors on performance
- The relationship between human factors, safety and efficiency
- The role of human factors in system design, operations, management and safety
Course objectives
- Introduction of airworthiness issues for all activities associated with civil aircraft operating in or influenced by European regulatory requirements
- Demonstration of new decision-making and social skills to better manage the prevention or consequences of human error on the job
- Assistance to improve safety and efficiency by reducing and managing human error made by individuals and organizations
